We\u2019ll then visit the archaeological site of Chachabamba, starting gradually through the cloud forest to the beautiful place of Wi\u00f1aywayna. Walking up the ancient Inca steps, you will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful terraces, water sources and a breathtaking views. After enjoying the ruins and a nice packed lunch, we\u2019ll set off walking again for the remainder of the trail. Before you know it, we\u2019ll arrive at the &#8220;Puerta del Sol&#8221; and in the distance you will find the much awaited Machu Picchu. After undoubtedly many photos and delight, it\u2019ll be time to catch the bus for a 30-minute journey down to the town of Aguas Calientes where your hotel (with its inviting warm shower) will await. End of the day.<br \/>\nOvernight stay at the hotel.<\/p>\n<p><strong> DAY 2.- Visit Machu Picchu <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After a night at the hotel, you\u2019ll return by bus to Machu Picchu to explore and find out more about this stunning site from a professional guide. As an option, you could visit the Inca bridge, if you still have enough energy left, that is! Finally, you\u2019ll return by bus to the village and the train station. Passing through the Sacred Valley, you\u2019ll finally reach the city of Cusco.
