Airport welcome and transfer to the hotel in the neighborhood of Miraflores. No scheduled visits on this day as flights usually arrive in the afternoon. If your flight arrives in the morning, a visit can of course be scheduled on the afternoon of day 1. We guarantee the transfer from the airport to the hotel regardless of your arrival time.

Departure with your guide for a private visit of Lima, discovering the colonial center with the cathedral and the presidential palace, followed by a visit of the San Francisco church with its catacombs. After lunch, departure by private service along the coast towards the city of Paracas where we will arrive at the end of the afternoon. 

Overnight stay in Paracas. 

Transfer to the port of Paracas, where we will embark on a boat journey over to the Ballestas Islands with its dramatic cliffs, caves and arches, which protect a population of several thousand sea lions and a number of seabirds (pelicans, sea lions, Humboldt penguins). Your next stop will be a “winery” where you’ll be able to observe how Pisco (the national alcohol) is distilled, and visit the oasis of Huacachina in a buggy ride through the desert –  strong emotions guaranteed. Lunch. Shortly before your arrival in Nazca, we will stop at a viewpoint where you’ll be able to see two geometric figures of the Nazca culture. 

Night in Nazca. 

Free morning. After lunch, we will visit the Cantayoc aqueducts, the ingenious and subterranean irrigation system of the ancient Nazca civilization. Transfer to the terminal to travel back to Arequipa by first-class bus.

Arrival in Arequipa in the morning and transfer to the hotel in the city center.

10:00 hours. Visit on foot of the colonial center, the local market, the Plaza de Armas and the gorgeous monasteries of the Company of Jesus and Santa Catalina.

After breakfast, what could be more pleasant than discovering the local cuisine? Better still, we will have the chance to learn how to prepare two traditional Peruvian dishes, which you will of course get to enjoy for lunch. Free afternoon to enjoy the charm of Arequipa.

In the morning we will begin an adventure along the Chili River, a great adventure that will take us down its chilly waters inside the small valley of Chilina, down to the foot of the Chachani and Misti volcanoes.  At the end, we will enjoy a small snack before returning to the hotel.

In the morning, departure to the Colca Valley. Ascent through the reserve of Aguada Blanca, where you can observe the local fauna: vicuñas, llamas, alpacas, vizcachas… Then we will arrive at Patapampa at 4910 meters, before descending into the Colca valley.  

Free afternoon where we will be able to take a country walk, bathe in the thermal baths of the town, take a horseback ride or cross the river on the tirolesa (these last 2 activities at an extra cost, not included). Lunch, dinner and night at a local family’s home.

Breakfast at 6 a.m. Departure by bus with your guide through the Colca valley to the “Cruz del Condor” viewpoint, where we will have the chance to enjoy an incredible view over the canyon, the river more than 1000 meters below and cliffs about 2500 meters high across from you. We will also be able to observe the majestic flight of the condors, that sometimes fly right above our heads! Return to the most open and cultivated part of the valley for some stops in local traditional villages. 

Return for lunch, dinner and night in Coporaque.

Free morning. Transfer from Chivay to Puno by tourist bus crossing a good part of the Andean plateau. Arrival in Puno at the end of the day.

Overnight stay in Puno.

Departure by kayak on the lake Titicaca, crossing the bulrush area up to the Uros floating islands. After visiting the islands, return to Puno. Free afternoon. Departure by first-class overnight bus to the city of Cusco. 

Arrival in Cusco in the morning and transfer to the hotel.

Visit on foot of Cusco, capital of the Inca empire and one of the unavoidable wonders of any trip to Peru. We will discover the Inca museum, passing through narrow and steep streets of the beautiful neighborhood of San Blas, then walk along the walls of the ancient Inca palaces (Koricancha) and the famous 12-angle stone. 

Free afternoon. Overnight stay at at the hotel. 

In the morning, ascent by private vehicle to the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, which protected Cusco, made with huge blocks of stone ordered with startling precision. From above, we will have a panoramic view over the city and continue towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting Pisac and its famous craft market. Lunch.

In the afternoon, we will continue descending to the valley until we reach the Inca village of Ollantaytambo. Departure by train to Aguas Calientes, the village located at the foot of Machu Picchu and today renamed Machu Picchu Pueblo. During the 1 hour and 45 minute journey, we will ride along a narrow, greenish gorge by the Urubamba River.

Bus ride to Machu Picchu. The lost city of the Incas which was rediscovered exactly a century ago, fascinates all travelers, both with the mysteries that surround it, and by the incredible beauty of the site and its surrounding landscapes. Visit in the morning to discover all the facets of this extraordinary site. 

Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch, train and overnight stay in Ollantaytambo.

In the morning, we will depart by private vehicle to Moray, with its amazing concentric and perfectly circular Inca terraces. The next stop will be the Maras salt ponds of, to discover the colorful spectacle of these thousands of salt ponds, where salt has been extracted by hand from pre-Hispanic times to the present day. At the end, we will visit the traditional village of Chinchero and its beautiful alpaca wool garment production.  Return and night in Cusco. 

Departure early in the morning by tourist bus to Ausangate Nevado, a 4-hour ride over to the starting point of the trek, followed by a 3-hour ascent to the Rainbow Mountain at an altitude of 5000 meters. 

After lunch, return and night in Cusco.

Free day to take full advantage of the city’s charm at your own pace. Cusco is the most fascinating part of any Peruvian tour. Its narrow streets combine the charm of colonial architecture with the unique character of its carved Inca stone foundations.
