Airport welcome and transfer to the hotel in the neighborhood of Miraflores. No scheduled visit on this day as flights usually arrive in the afternoon. The day will begin with a tour of Lima, offering an interesting blend of the pre-Hispanic, colonial and contemporary Peru. In ancestral Lima we have the Huaca Pucllana, built by the IV century of our era; they will have a good view of the administrative center as ceremonial and considered by the Incas as a sacred city. Contemporary Lima is made u of the lovely districts of San Isidro, Miraflores, the Park of Love with its spectacular view over the Pacific Ocean, and finally the bohemian district of Barranco. Lunch. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Arequipa.

Transfer and overnight stay at the hotel in Arequipa.

We will also explore the lovely main square, the “Plaza de Armas”, accompanied by its impressive and imposing cathedral. Later on, we will wander around the grandiose Monastery of Santa Catalina, a city which seems to have stopped in time, with an incredibly rich history. At the end we will make our way to San Camilo market, a picturesque place where local daily life is reflected in each one of its different colorful, delicious-smelling aisles.
