This tour will showcase the diversity of Peru with its majestic desert the Peruvian coast, the amazing and magical mountains of the Andes that will be accomplices of our adventures and experiences and finally, the heart of the Amazon, a true natural gem.

LIMA/PARACAS/NAZCA/AREQUIPA/PUNO/CUSCO/PUERTOMALDONADO

A private vehicle and your professional guide will pick you up from the airport at the time of your arrival for your transfer to your hotel in the city of Lima. This is the capital of Peru, declared World Heritage by the UNESCO, with monuments of great importance like its Cathedral, the Larco museum and some mansions that jealously guard their mysterious history. 

Night in Miraflores.

This is the time to explore Lima’s old town. Our tour begins with the colonial historic center, from its main square over to the Cathedral and then a very important monument, “La Casa Aliaga”. Then, we will continue on to the Larco Museum, with its exhibits of the 3000 years of history of pre-Columbian Peru. Finally, we will head to the beautiful “Parque del Amor” (Park of Love), where you can enjoy incredible views of the vast Pacific Ocean. Lunch. 

Night in Miraflores.

Our tour starts very early in the morning by tourist bus from Lima to Paracas with breakfast en route. We will then visit the Ballestas Islands, where we will appreciate different bird species and sea lions in their natural habitat, then continue on to the city of Ica – Huacachina, the beautiful home of giant dunes which we will explore by buggy before enjoying a sand-boarding adventure. Lunch. Finally the trip continues towards the city of Nazca where we will spend the night.

This morning we will have the chance to fly over one of the most mysterious places in the world, the impressive Nazca Lines: geoglyphs in the middle of the desert which will undoublty evoke paranormal phenomena belonging to the Nazca Culture and Paracas. We will then continue on to the aqueducts, which are systems built to recover water from underground aquifers. Lunch. We will then have the transfer from Nazca to the city of Arequipa by first-class bus.

Arrival in Arequipa in the morning and transfer to the hotel in the city center.

Your experience will begin with a visit to the Carmen Alto viewpoint which offers views over the countryside and the city flanked by its three imposing volcanoes, before continuing on to the traditional district of Yanahuara. Your next stop will be the historic center along with the Convent of Santa Catalina and the Society of Jesus, this architectural beauty was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Free afternoon. Night in Arequipa.

Departure from Arequipa, passing through the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca, where you’ll be able to spot animals such as vicuñas, llamas, alpacas, and birds. After observing a diverse landscape, we will arrive to the gorgeous Colca Valley. Lunch in Chivay, and then on to Coporaque. In the afternoon we will have the option of visiting the hot springs with temperatures of 38°c to 40°c. 

Night and dinner in Coporaque.

Take a deep breath and feel the vastness of the Colca Valley and the Canyon. It is considered one of the deepest canyons in the world, and the home of Pre-Inca cultures that were responsible for moulding the valley’s terraces, next to the territory of one of the most majestic birds in the world: the Andean “Condor”. Lunch.

Afternoon horseback ride to the pre-Inca ruins of Uyo Uyo. 

Night and dinner in Coporaque. 

After having enjoyed your last breakfast in the Colca Valley, it is time set off towards the city of Puno by private vehicle. It is a highly colorful journey through the Andean highlands with rock formations, water mirrors and some flamingos along the way. Arrival at the mysterious archaeological site of “Chulpas of Sillustani”. After having discovered these enormous megalithic constructions, we will continue on to the hotel in Puno.

Get ready for a new adventure in a small boat to the Floating Islands of the Uros, an ancient society that knew how to build their artificial islands with “totora” (bulrush) that grows in the lake. We will then continue your journey to the Island of Amantani, inhabited by local communities with whom we will have the chance to interact. Lunch. In the afternoon we will no doubt witness a beautiful sunset over Lake Titicaca and then share a meal with the local families. 

Overnight stay in Amantani. 

After breakfast with the family, it’ll be time to say goodbye to this community. A second island named Taquile awaits, with its new history and traditions. Walking through these islands is to get a feel for how locals live, and enjoying lunch with views over Lake Titicaca is to understand the sheer power of nature. 

Return to Puno and night at the hotel. 

Transfer by tourist transportation from Puno to the City of Cusco, during which we will drive through the impressive landscapes of the highlands. Stop en route in Pukara, lunch and wander through Raqchi, the Sistine Chapel of Latin America in Andahuaylillas, in order to admire its architectural complexes and lithic museums. Upon arrival in Cusco, you will then be transferred to your respective hotel. 

Overnight stay in Cusco. 

The city tour in Cusco begins with the Plaza de Armas, then with the imposing Cathedral and its hybrid architecture, before continuing on to “Koricancha”, an imposing sight built by the Inca Pachacutec and which is today the Convent of Santo Domingo. Following this, continue over to the impressive Sacsayhuaman Fortress, the archaeological site of Quenco and Puca Pucara. Free afternoon. 

Night in Cusco.

Today we will head towards the Sacred Valley, making a stop in Awanakancha (“textile palace”), where we will see the South American camelids and a textiles exhibition center. We will continue your tour to the archaeological site of Pisaq which was an administrative center of Inca agriculture. Lunch and then visit of Ollantaytambo, a great Peruvian masterpiece. Train from Ollantaytambo over to Aguas Calientes. 

Night in Aguas Calientes. 

Perhaps the most eagerly awaited day has arrived! Your tour begins early in the morning, with a bus up to one of the most important archaeological sites: Machu Picchu, known as the lost city of the Incas and today considered one of the 7 wonders of the world. After exploring this incredible citadel, it will be time to return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and finally return by train to Ollantaytambo. 

Transfer and overnight stay in Cusco. 

Airplane trip to the rainforest. Upon arrival we will enjoy an exquisite lunch at Hacienda Concepción, then explore, discover and learn about life in the Amazon. We will end the day with a dinner at Casa Grande. Overnight stay at Hacienda Concepción.

After a delicious breakfast, our next stop will be Lake Sandoval, where we will witness the great biodiversity of flora and fauna. After lunch at one of the hostels, we will be led to some trails and a canopy walkway, some towers and hanging bridges: a great experience awaits. Dinner and overnight at the Hacienda Concepción. 

Return by motorized canoe to Puerto Maldonado, where we will have the chance to visit the Butterfly Garden in order to learn more about its metamorphosis. Transfer to the airport. Return to Lima. Connection with your international flight. 

If your international flight leaves in the morning, we will have to add on an extra night in Lima.
